The Experience
Arrival. A glimpse of the colorful Be experience. The welcoming reception area is a cabinet of curiosities. Lounge briefly on one of the modern designer sofas, refresh with a chilled drink or browse the shelves of contemporary Cambodian art and chic gifts. Your staff make their introductions and lead you to your chosen room – Saffron, Bamboo, or Sepia.

Exploration. You will no doubt spend some time exploring the temples of Angkor. We will be happy to arrange transportation and tour guides so that you can experience these marvels in all their glory – from the looming otherworldly faces of the Bayon, to sunrise over the causeway at Angkor Wat to the intriguing slow-motion battle of jungle and stone at surreal ruins such as Preah Khan and Ta Prom.

Culinary musings. At Be you are only a few steps away from brilliant cuisine. The ground floor proudly hosts AHA restaurant and wine bar, a dining concept by Hotel de la Paix. Created by a Khmer-French design team Asma, AHA (pronounced “ah-hah”) is a free-flowing space featuring inspired modern architectural design including a 30-metre wooden wave wall, ‘floating’ show kitchen, and designer wine display. Executive Chef Cassandra Zukauskas has shaped an array of ‘small plates’ – many essentially Khmer in inspiration, but also moving further afield. The adventurous will likely desire to try some of the exotic fare, such as Green Mango and Dried Snake Salad, while more restrained gourmands will take pleasure in the Grilled Prawn and Radicchio with Duck Confit. For dessert, highlights include Honeycomb Icecream, Jasmine Rice with Coconut Sorbet, and Sambucca Jelly. The wine selection is similarly exceptional, and guests of Hotel Be Angkor are also welcome to enjoy room service throughout their stay.
